Zandu Panchatikta Guggulu Ghrita

Panchatikta Guggulu Ghrita, is a medicated ghee formulation. Containing 'panch' five, 'tiktta' bitter components as ingredients.

Similar to guggulutikkta kashayam, where there is no usage of ghee, rest are the same.

Its usage:

1.used in ulcers, skin diseases.

1. asthama, psoriasis, kusta etc.rhinitis.

Effect on Tridosha – pacifies Vata, Pitta and kapha.

Dosage:

1/4-1/2tsf followed by sips of hot water, on empty stomach.

Nimba – neem – 480 g

Patola – Trichosanthes dioica – 480 g

Vyaghri – Solanum xanthocarpum – 480 g

Guduchi – Tinospora cordifolia – 480 g

Vasa – Adhatoda vasica – 480 g

water for decoction – 12.288 liters boiled and reduced to 3.072 liters

Ghrita – ghee – 768 ml
