Alpha-Liv is a specially formulated syrup/tonic from Schwabe India for liver, bile and related digestive disorders. It is a liver tonic which helps in recovering and maintaining the liver functions with effective response in liver disorders. It has many useful and natural constituents which are helpful in improving the health in general, cleansing the intestinal tract, detoxifying the body thereby regulating the functions of the liver and digestion. Schwabe India’s Alpha-Liv syrup contains mother tinctures and lower potencies of Carduus Marianus, Chelidonium Majus, Andrographis Paniculata, Hydrastis Canadensis, Podophylum Peltatum, Ipecacuanha and Acidum Citricum.

Willmar Schwabe India Alpha Liv - Liver Tonic is useful in cases of sluggish liver functions, fatty liver, and as a supportive treatment for jaundice, infantile jaundice, liver damage from alcohol abuse, biliary colic, gallstones and toxic liver damage. It also helps in many disorders of digestion such as indigestion, constipation, flatulence, nausea, vomiting and also in general detoxification of the system. It also controls nausea and vomiting related to liver and biliary disorders. It regulates the digestion and helps in regulating bowel movements hence preventing constipation

How to use Willmar Schwabe India Alpha Liv - Liver Tonic:

Unless otherwise prescribed by the physician, 1-2 teaspoon thrice daily. As the symptoms improve, it can be reduced to 1-2 teaspoon twice daily. It is well - tolerated drug and can be used for prolonged periods. Children should be given half the adult dose. It contains syrup and care should be taken regarding dose and duration in diabetes.
