Akik Bhasma is a mineral-based ayurvedic medicines used for the treatment of general debility, heart weakness, and feeling of excessive heat in the body, mental diseases, eye diseases and excessive uterine bleeding in women.
Akik Mainly is prepared from agate gemstone powder by grinding it with herbal juices and there after heating it to make bhasma. It mainly works on heart, brain, liver and spleen, so it is beneficial in diseases of these body organs.

Uses
Akik Bhasma mainly affects on heart, brain, liver and spleen, so it is used in diseases of these organ. In addition, it also has beneficial effects in bleeding disorders such as excessive uterine bleeding in women and epistaxis.
Dosage
- Akik Bhasma dosage is 125 mg to 250 mg twice a day before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor
- Its dosage should not exceed from 1000 mg per day.
- In case of Pitta disorder, it is given along with honey.
- In case of Vata imbalance it is given along with Ashwagandha
- In cough and heart disorders, it is fresh ginger juice.
