Naladadi Ghritam is an Ayurvedic medicine in herbal ghee form. It is used for the treatment of schizophrenia, mania etc. It is also called Pratibha Rasayanam.
Uses of Naladadi Ghritam:
- Used for the treatment of Schizophrenia, mania, Manic Depressive Psychosis,
- This is effective in dullness in children due to undeveloped brain and convulsions.
- Beneficial in autism and such other neurological deficits in children.

Ingredients of Naladadi Ghritam:
- Katukarohini (Picrorrhiza kurroa)
- Payasya (Holostemma adakodien)
- Madhuka (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
- Chandana (Santalum album)
- Sariva (Hemidesmus indicus)
- Vacha (Acorus calamus)
- Shankhapushpi (Clitoria ternatea)
Naladadi Ghritam dosage:
- As medicine – quarter to half teaspoon with water, usually before food, once or twice a day, or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
- For Panchakarma preparation – Snehana procedure, the dose depends on the disease status and the judgement of Ayurvedic doctor.
- It is usually administered with warm water.
